Monday, June 1st:

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-25-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Anderson Park (44th & Field) for a ride west on the Clear Creek Trail to the Peak to Plains Trail, which we will take to the current construction point at the CCR Trailhead.  After a break at the trailhead, we will return via the same route.  Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.


Tuesday, June 2nd: 

NEW RIDE

9:00 am NE Fun/Plus H1 29mi NE Rotella Park to Ken Mitchell Park   Meet Fred Tarbell (630-888-5290) at Rotella Park, 1824 Coronado Pkwy S. Denver.  Bike East on Niver Creek bikeway to South Platte trail and turn left, North. Following the Platte River on the right, for 16 miles to Ken Mitchell Park and Open space.  Break and bathroom(possibly enroute) at Park. After the break we will return by the same route to Rotella Park around lunch time.  Entire route is flat and open views of Thornton ponds and river.   Welcome to bring snack/lunch items for socializing after ride if desired.                                                                                                     

10:00 AM FUN/MTB P2-T2 13 + optional SW WATERTON CANYON.  Meet Karen Kelley (303) 260-9029   Enjoy a ride up Waterton Canyon to the dam, optional continue up to Lenny's Bench. Meet at the Denver Audubon Kingery Nature Center parking lot 11280 Waterton Rd.  Bring a chair and food for lunch afterwards. 


Wednesday, June 3rd:

9:30 AM FUN PLUS-H3-31-SW Meet Simone Caruthers (720-636-2884) at Wheat Ridge Cyclery on Ken Caryl (12402 W Ken Caryl Ave, Littleton 80127, east of the Ken Caryl exit off of C470).  We will ride up Deer Creek Canyon Rd into the neighborhoods and into Chatfield State Park, taking the road around the lake to Sterling Ranch.  After our break at the coffee shop (bring $$), we will return back to Wadsworth.  We will then continue through neighborhoods to the start.

9:30AM MTB/Gravel P1T1  Waterton Canyon Meet in the Audubon Center parking lot at 11280 Waterton Canyon, Littleton, CO 80127 This is about ΒΌ mile before the main parking lot for Waterton Canyon. This route takes us along a gravel road that follows the South Platte River. We will take the gravel road, ending at the Bighorn Picnic Area beneath the Strontia Springs Dam. There are many opportunities to spot wildlife on the surrounding cliffs, especially the big horn sheep herd. Dogs are not allowed in this area to protect the bighorn sheep herds. Extra-credit to ride the Colorado Trail up to Lenny’s Bench for those who want to do that additional mile and climb.  If the trail is muddy of course, NO. Meet Steve Farley in the Audubon Center parking lot.  Bring a chair and snacks for post-ride get together. Check Meetup for any weather cancellation.


Thursday, June 4th:

8:45 AM GO 9:00 FUN PLUS-H2 (850”gain)-25 to 30 miles NEW LEADER, NEW STARTING PLACEWelcomeThomas Hefner (503-701-1815) at The Highline House ,11485 Roxborough Park RD, Littleton, (https://share.google/PSUou6zXAWkBOhdwT ). Beat the summer visitors to Chatfield Lake. We’ll ride into the park then exit and travel up (and down) Deer Creek Canyon. If additional miles are wanted, a trip to Sterling Ranch will be in order.


Friday, June 5th:

10:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-25 Frisco (Elevation Gain = 1107’) Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) for the FREE ICE CREAM TOUR OF BRECKENRIDGE. We will ride the multi-use trail through Frisco and on to beautiful Breckenridge where we will explore the town and stop for a break at the Ice Cream Store of choice complements of DBTC. We will then return to Frisco using alternate trails. We will meet at the North Tenmile Creek Parking Lot at the southeast corner of I-70 & Main Street. Drive westbound from Denver on I-70 to Exit 201 and look for DBTC members in the parking lot.

NEW RIDE

10:00 AM H2 26 miles T1 Gravel (ATB) or mountain bike (some washboards.) We will meet at the Buffalo Creek Parking area, Pine Valley Road, Highway 126.  18268 S Buffalo Creek Rd, Pine, CO 80470This is now a paid parking lot ~$7, payable by app.  There is WiFi at the parking lot to accommodate this.  Also restrooms. This ride will be entirely on dirt, gravel roads.  NO SINGLE TRACK OR TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIRED. We will ride a lollipop loop, enjoying the unique scenery of Buffalo Creek.   Bring plenty of water and snacks.  Water available for purchase at trail head. The drive to trailhead via HWY 285 from C470 and 285 is about 45 minutes. Janet Martel Jmartel98@gmail.com (303-929-5950)


Saturday, June 6th:

8:00 AM FUN-H1-20 NE GRAVEL RIDE ROCKY MOUNTAIN ARSENAL Meet Cyndy Klepinger (303.725.1565) at the parking lot for the Visitor Center at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal, 6550 Gateway Road. We will ride the gravel trails through the Arsenal, trails are fairly smooth, but do have loose gravel. Ride limited to 10 riders, to reserve a spot, text Cyndy at 303.725.1565. Sunday, June 7th:

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H1-27 NE HIDDEN TRAILS Meet Cyndy Klepinger (303.725.1565) at Cake Crumbs, 2216 Kearney. The route starts with Cherry Creek Trail, then the Highline Canal to Tollgate to Sand Creek, Westerly Creek and finally Central Park trails. Pace will be 12 to 14 mph. There are a few miles of city street riding in bike lanes and on a designated bike lane. Ride limited to 10 riders, to reserve a spot, text Cyndy at 303.725.1565. Monday, June 8th:

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H3-21-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Prospect Park (44th & Robb) for a ride west on the Clear Creek Trail to Easley Rd, which we will take to 60th Ave (becomes 58th). We will ride west to Hwy 93, and then ride south on Hwy 93 for approximately a quarter mile to the entrance of White Ranch. After a break at the east trailhead, we will continue to ride through White Ranch to Tucker Gulch. Then we will ride down Tucker Gulch and down the Clear Creek Trail to the start. Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.


Tuesday, June 9th:

8:30 AM FUN PLUS--H3-10-W-+1370’ elev gain. “Progressive Lookout Challenge #1: Lookout Mountain for Beginners 101!” (Mountain-riding Month with Marilyn) Meet 08:30. REGISTER BY TEXT 303-905-8510 to leader by June 8, 5PM. Come try Lookout and get more elevation training in! Meet Marilyn Choske at the Lookout Mountain Road “pillars” parking lot--> from Hwy 6, go .3 mile on Lookout Mtn Road to park on the left. Restrooms available. If you pass the two big pillars, you’ve gone too far. We’ll ride at our own paces and stop at the Windy Saddle Lot 3.1 miles from the cars; regroup. Continue to 4.7 miles and pull off at the yellow posts on the right; regroup. Ride up to the viewing deck. Return down the mountain to our cars! Ride will not go if rainy or forecast is for morning rain; call the leader if in doubt.

NEW RIDE

9:30 AM NE Fun Plus H2 29 mi Twin Lakes to Webster Park, Northglenn. Meet Fred Tarbell ,630-888-5290, at Twin Lakes, (300 West 70th Ave, 1/8 mi West of Broadway junction) Bike East on Clear Creek to South Platte trail and turn North.  Follow the Platte Trail to left junction of The Grange Hall Creek trail.  Follow the trail to Margaret Carpenter Park crossing 104th Ave.  Bathroom break at Carpenter Park before continuing on a green way trail through Thornton and Northglenn suburbs. Turn North along the East side of I-25 interstate to arrive at Webster Park. A break for snacks and water, before returning the same route to Twin Lakes. Bring snacks or lunch items if you want to socialize and recover after the ride.


Wednesday, June 10th:

9:30 AM FUN-H2 (1,069 Gain)-24 miles SW NEW TRAIL, NEW ROUTE Third time is the charm! Meet Patty Gaspar (303-618-5069) at Nixon’s Coffee Shop at Hudson Gardens. The parking lot for trail use is at the north end of Hudson Gardens behind the car wash on Maplewood Street. There is a short trail down to the coffee shop. We’ll head up through Grant Ranch and over to Weaver Creek then C-470 and finally down the new Dutch Creek Trail for a speedy downhill back to the Nixon’s. Bring your lunch or buy it at Nixon’s. Thursday, June 11th:

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-23-NW (Elevation Gain = 998) Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) for THE HIDDEN GEMS OF ARVADA. We have all experienced the traditional Arvada classic trails of Ralston Creek, Clear Creek, and Van Bibber. Check out this new route instead that explores Lake Arbor, the Pomona Lakes, the Arvada Fire Fighter’s Park, the backside of baseball, and other forgotten areas and is guaranteed to be an adventure! Meet at the SE corner of HWY 36 and 104th at the back side of the new HotPot, formally Black Bear Diner, formerly Quaker State and Lube Restaurant (10392 Reed St., Westminster, CO) by a hidden entrance to a hidden trail where the adventure will begin (and end).


Friday, June 12th:

8:00 AM FUN PLUS-H3-16-W-+1897’ elev gain. Progressive Lookout Challenge #2: Lookout Mountain for Beginners 102! We add a bit more distance & elevation from the “101” ride! REGISTER BY TEXT 303-905-8510 to leader by June 11, 5PM. Meet Marilyn Choske at meet place directions at end of description. Once we get to Lookout Mountain Road, ride at your pace to the Windy Saddle lot at 5.2 miles; regroup. Continue to 6.8 miles and pull off at the yellow posts on the right; regroup. Ride up to the viewing deck. Enjoy the downhill ride and we’ll stop at a nearby coffee place (bring $) to celebrate your Lookout accomplishment! Return to the cars. Ride will not go if rainy or forecast is for morning rain; call the leader if in doubt. MEET PLACE directions: Park in the westernmost area of the Clear Creek Parking Lot--Free Public Parking in Golden. Enter from the 10th & Archer Streets area (on Archer Street). 9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H3-36-SE 1600’ Elevation Meet Susan Larson (720-207-7300) at Arapahoe Road Trailhead for a ride to and through Aurora Reservoir. This ride has plenty of hills and will be a mix of the Cherry Creek Trail, the High Plains Trail, the Piney Creek Trail, the Aurora Reservoir Trail, residential roads and the bridge over Parker Road. We’ll make planned breaks on the route at Red-tailed Hawk Park, Aurora Reservoir beach, and Piney Creek Hollow Park. Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward. The ride is limited to 10 riders. 9:00 AM FUN-H2-22-NW (Elevation Gain = 1060 feet) - THE REALLY RADICAL RAT RACE RODENT RIDE Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) for this ride that takes us around the trails of Rock Creek, Interlocken and Broomfield highlighted by the new bike overpass between Interlocken and Broomfield leading to never before seen trails!!! Come find out how this ride got it’s name. Meet at the SE corner of the Safeway parking lot at the Rock Creek Village Shopping Center in Superior. Rock Creek Village is centrally located in Superior at the NW corner of Coalton and Rock Creek Parkway (Address is 1601 Coalton Road Superior, CO. 80027)


Sunday, June 14th:

8:30 AM LEISURE -H1-18 SE PARKER FARMER'S MARKET Meet Karen Kelley (303-260-9029) at the E Arapahoe Trailhead (0.2 miles east on Arapahoe Rd from the Arapahoe Rd and S Jordan Rd intersection).  Ride the Cherry Creek Trail to Sulphur Gulch Trail to Downtown Parker Farmer's Market.  We will lock our bikes and search the market for a treat.  Bring money and a lock.


9:00 AM -12:00 PM Fun Plus-H2/3- 27-SE Bill Monroe 630-386-7935 at The Pinery Trailhead, 6662 N Pinery Pkwy, Parker, CO 80134 (It’s a dead end road but it is the right road. Go to the end) . This ride is all on trails from Parker to Castle Rock and back. We will ride the Cherry Creek Trail, McMurdo Gulch Trail, Woodlands Trail, Hangman’s Gulch Trail and Plum Creek Trail. There are a few road crossings but no road riding. The McMurdo Gulch trail to Founders Parkway is challenging (6 miles, 2% average grade which includes a couple of very short 4+% climbs) as will be the return from Castle Rock to Founders Parkway. We will have several water break/ rest stops as needed. Turn around will be at the Festival Park in downtown Castle Rock. Monday, June 15th:

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H3-24-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Anderson Park (44th & Field) for a loop ride to Golden, through Arvada and back to the park. We will ride the Clear Creek Trail, Tucker Gulch, Mesa St Trail, Van Bibber Trail, and the Blunn Trail before taking 52nd Ave through western Arvada to return. Note: We will spend approximately one mile on a wide shoulder on Hwy 93 during this ride. Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.


Tuesday, June 16th:

7:30 AM INT-H3/4-21-W-+2607’ elev gain. Progressive Lookout Challenge #3: Lookout Mountain Plus for All! This will challenge you! REGISTER BY TEXT 303-905-8510 to leader by June 15, 5PM. Meet Marilyn Choske at the Apex Trailhead parking lot off Highway 40 (West Colfax) or off Heritage Road. Restrooms and water fillups available. Look for my red Kia Sportage with a bike rack. From Apex trailhead, ride Kinney Run Trail to Hwy 6 bikepath. Climb and access 19th St over Hwy 6. Once we get to Lookout Mountain Road, ride at your pace to the Windy Saddle lot and regroup. Continue to the yellow posts on the right at Lookout Mountain and regroup. Optional ride up to the viewing deck. Continue on Lookout Mountain Road; before Hwy 40, turn right onto Mount Vernon Road and ride to Genesee. Coffee or ice cream stop at Genesee Town Center, compliments of DBTC for your efforts today! Ride southside frontage road and neighborhoods to the left overpass at I-70 then continue on Hwy 40 to Apex and cars. We will ride through the Park, then cross over Parker Road on the NEW bridge and then ride the High Plains Trail, along C-470 to Piney Creek Trail. There are some short climbs. 9:00 am NE Fun Plus H1 32 NE Rotella Park to Brighton.   Meet Fred Tarbell (630-8B88-5290) at Rotella Park, 1900 N. Coronado Pkwy, Denver, (East end at shelter 1)  Ride East on Niver Creek bikeway to South Platte trail.  Turn left, North on South Platte trail, following the Platte River on the right, for 16miles to Brighton.  Bathroom and break in Brighton (or possible in route), before returning the same route to Rotella Park.  Entire route is flat with open views of river.  Some short riding on streets and one pedestrian and bike bridge to cross. Bring snack/lunch items for socializing after ride if desired.                                                                                                     


10:00 AM Leisure H1 - 20 SW TACO TUESDAY Clarkson Loop Meet Karen Kelley (303)260-9029 at the west end of Broken Tee Golf Course 2101 W Oxford Ave. Ride loop through Englewood, south on Clarkson to C470, return north on the Platte River Trail. Bring money for lunch at Monaghan’s, oldest bar in Sheridan. 


Wednesday, June 17th:

9:00 AM FUN-H2/H3-24 SW Pie in the sky? Meet Patty Gaspar (303-618-5069) Granny Scott’s Pie Shop (3333 S Wadsworth Blvd.). We’ll pay our respects to the goddess and then head west to Kipling then over to the C470 trail. There is a great downhill back to Lowell and Bear Valley. Lunch at the pie shop. 18 Thursday, June 18th: DBTC June 2026 9:00 FUN PLUS H-2-23 Miles SW Meet Peter Woulfe (540-219-6674) at Reynolds Landing parking lot (6745 S. Santa Fe Dr). We will ride the South Platte, go up Dartmouth Ave. to Dahlia Street, Happy Canyon to Quincy Ave. on to Clarkson to a trail behind Englewood High School, and then return on the South Platte.


Friday, June 19th:

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H3-32 miles Elevation Gain = 1950’ Summer is almost here Summit County ride! Meet Lauren Delle (970-903-8409) at Ten Mile parking lot in Frisco at I-70 & Main St. We will ride via bike path from Frisco Ten Mile Parking Lot up to Vail Pass, then back down and up Fremont Pass bike path extender at Copper Mountain, then return to Frisco. Bring sack lunch and a chair for a picnic in Frisco park at the end of the ride. Limit 10 riders. The ride will not go if it is stormy or rainy. Text/Call if in doubt. Carpooling: If you want to carpool with someone, let me know and I’ll try to help coordinate.

9:00 AM FUN/LEISURE H1/H2-18-SE Duffy Rolls and Poolside Lunch Ride Meet Janet Kritzer ( 303 883-2474 cell) at her home, 34 Sedgwick Drive ( Devonshire Heights) Cherry Hills Village to park and start, for a ride through Cherry Hills, Greenwood Village and beyond. Enjoy Duffy Rolls to start and a gravel trail ride on the Highline Canal Trail to Big Dry Creek to Belleview Park. After riding through Old Cherry Hills and Woody Hollow Park, we will then wind thru some pretty streets and the Highline to arrive back at 34 Sedgwick. The ride will be 2/3 on packed gravel with some dirt on the trails. Hybrid bike suggested. After the Ride: Duffy’s Sandwiches served at poolside tables. Members of DBTC only. 15 Rider limit!

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-35-SE Meet Susan Larson (720-207-7300) at Arapahoe Road Trailhead for a ride south on the Cherry Creek Trail to Cobblestone Ranch Park. We’ll make a couple of stops at nice parks before turning around and biking back. This trail is a very gradual uphill going out that you won’t notice until you turn around and start back when you’re rewarded with a downhill! It’s a pretty ride! Saturday, June 20th:

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H3- 23.7 -SE Daniels Park and The Bluffs Meet Bill Monroe (630-386-7935) at the Lone Tree Arts Center 10075 Commons St, Lone Tree, CO 80124. The ride will go through Surrey Ridge, Beverly Hills, Castle Pines and Lone Tree. We will stop at Daniels Park which has one of the best views of the entire Front Range, downtown Denver and the Tech Center. There’s also a buffalo herd. We will then go back north on Monarch Blvd and over The Bluffs in Lone Tree. The Bluffs part of the ride is about 5.5 miles on gravel a little looser than the Highline Canal. Gravel tires are recommended. We will also take a quick stop at Lonehenge. There is a steep climb to get to the top of The Bluffs and a steep twisting descent when exiting The Bluffs. Sunday, June 21st (Fathers Day):

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H3-24-NW-(Elevation Gain = 1207 feet) Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) for THE GREAT FATHERS DAY RIDE AKA THE GREAT TOTEM POLE RIDE AKA THE HIDDEN GEMS OF INTERLOCKEN! Actually, the totem poles are gone now but...This exciting ride full of twists and turns uses portions of the new Hwy. 36 Trail to take us on a loop that includes the hidden gems of Flatirons Mall, Interlocken, Standley Lake, and Rock Creek Village! We will meet at the Rock Creek Village Safeway, which is centrally located in Superior at the NW corner of Coalton and Rock Creek Parkway (Address is 1601 Coalton Rd., Superior). This ride is now 99.99% on paved trails.


Monday, June 22nd:

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-25-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Anderson Park (44th & Field) for a ride north up Garrison to Olde Town Arvada and then to the Ralston Creek Trail. We will then ride west on the Ralston Creek Trail to the west side of the Westwoods Golf Course for a break. We will return via Easley Rd and the Clear Creek Trail. Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.


Tuesday, June 23rd:

8:00 AM FUN-H2-28-NW-1100’ elev gain. ARVADA ARROWHEAD! REGISTER BY TEXT 303-905-8510 to leader by Monday, June 22. Join Marilyn Choske at Anderson Park in Wheat Ridge, 44th & Field St., back parking lot near big pavilion. Ride an arrowhead-shaped loop around Arvada on bikepaths and bike-friendly roads. 9:30 AM Fun Plus H2 30 mi NE Twin Lakes to Charles Winburn Park in Northglenn. Meet Fred Tarbell ,630-888-5290, at Twin Lakes, (300 West 70th Ave – 1/8mi West of Broadway )  Denver.  The route is East on Clear Creek to South Platte bike path. North on Platte to left junction of the Grange Hall Creek trail.  Follow the trail to Margaret Carpenter Park crossing 104th Ave.  Bathroom break at Carpenter Park before continuing on a green way trail through Thornton and Northglenn suburbs. Turn North along the East side of I-25 interstate and pass under I-25 to arrive at Charles Winburn Park. A break for snacks and water before returning the same route to Twin Lakes.  Bring snacks or lunch items if you want to visit after the ride.


Wednesday, June 24th:

RIde to Work Day DRCOG just announced that they will not have the kiosks downtown. When we learn what the plans are, we will announce the rides for that day.


Thursday, June 25th:

10:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-23-SE KILWINS ICE CREAM RIDE Meet Susan Larson (720-207-7300) at Arapahoe Road Trailhead (.2 miles east on Arapaho Rd from the Arapahoe Rd and S Jordan Rd intersection) for a ride along the Cherry Creek Trail south, connecting to the Sulpher Gulch Trail and then the Tallman Gulch Trail. We’ll stop near Legends High School at a park for a short break. We will then continue on to Kilwins Ice Cream Shoppe near Main Street in Parker. These trails offer some nice shade. Friday, June 26th:

9:00 AM ATB FUN PLUS H-1-26 Miles SW Meet Peter Woulfe(540-219-6674) at the intersection of Foxton Rd. and Platte River Rd. (Take US 285 south past Conifer, take the exit for Foxton Rd. Follow the signs for Foxton Road to the end - about 8 miles.Go left at the stop sign for River Road. There is some parking on both sides of River Rd.) NO CELL SERVICE. We will ride along the river, the first 5 miles are rough pavement, then 5 miles of dirt until we reach smooth pavement. We will take a break at the Scraggy View Picnic Area. This is an out and back ride. Some of the gravel on the return is washboard jarring.


Saturday, June 27th:

9:30 AM INT-H4-27-Copper Mountain (TOTAL Elevation Gain = 3000’) Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) for THE BRAND NEW BEYOND VAIL PASS EXPERIENCE. We will take the West Ten Mile Creek Trail up 777 feet from Copper Mountain (Elevation 9817 feet) to Vail Pass (Elevation 10594) where we will explore the brand new visitor center. We will then go beyond to the Gore Creek Campground (Elevation 8681 feet) where we will turn around. We will then climb the 1913 feet and return to the top of Vail Pass. After a break we will enjoy the fabulous downhill ride back to Copper Mountain. We will meet at the west end of Copper Mountain at the free Union Creek Parking Lot (111 Beeler Pl, Frisco, CO 80443.) THIS RIDE IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART (or bring your E bike!)


Sunday, June 28th:

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H1-26 miles NE East Denver Trails Loop Meet Mark Fields (302-465-4525) at the northeast corner parking lot of Fred Thomas Park, 26th Avenue and Roslyn Streets, one block east of Quebec for an all-paved big loop around East Denver using several of my favorite trails. We’ll start on some street bike lanes to get to the Cherry Creek Trail, and then on to the S. Platte, Sand Creek, Westerly Creek Trails, and then a short stint on the Greenway Trail to return to the park. DANG Ice Cream, a few blocks away, will be our reward afterward. Really uncomfortable weather cancels; text me if you’re unsure we’re still on.


Monday, June 29th:

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-30-SW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at the Stone House (Estes & Yale along the Bear Creek Trail). We will ride east on the Bear Creek Trail to the South Platte Trail, taking it south up the Chatfield Dam. We will return the same route and have a break at Nixon’s Coffee before returning to the start. Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.


Tuesday, June 30th:

8:00 AM. FUN PLUS-H3-29-NW-1291’ elev gain. “SCRUMPTIOUS FUN BLUNN RUN!” REGISTER BY TEXT (303-905-8510) to leader by June 29, 5:00PM Join Marilyn Choske at Anderson Park, 44th & Field St, Wheat Ridge – back parking lot near big pavilion. Clear Creek Trail west to Tucker Gulch, north on Hwy 93 to Van Bibber Trail. North for climb over Blunn Reservoir, Ralston Creek Trail into Arvada for Ice Cream stop, and return. Trails and bike-friendly streets. Pace 10-14mph. Ride will not go if rainy or forecast is for morning rain; call the leader if in doubt.


NEW RIDE

9:00 am Fun H1-31 mile NE Rotella Park to Prospect Park and return.  Meet Fred Tarbell (630-888-5290) at Rotella Park , East end at shelter one, 1824 Coronado Pkwy S. Denver). Ride East  on Niver Creek to South Platte bike path and continue to Clear Creek junction West toward Golden.  Bathroom break/regroup at Wheat Ridge rec center before continuing to Prospect Park.  After our break there we will return by the same route.  Expect a 2 hr plus ride at 11 to 13 mph with breaks.   Bring your own snacks or lunch to stay and visit after the ride at Rotella Parks if you prefer.


9:30 AM FUN PLUS-H2/3-23-SE Tour de Highlands Ranch Meet Bill Monroe (630-386-7935) at the Northridge Rec Center, 8800 S Broadway, HR 80126. Three lights south of C-470. After turning into the rec center, proceed through the parking lot(s) to the eastern-most section. Enjoy the twists, turns and rolling terrain of this scenic ride with amazing views of the front range (weather permitting) and stops at the Cheese Ranch Historic Park and Highlands Ranch Mansion.
