Thursday, August 1st:
9:00 AM INT-H3.5 - 34 miles, 2200 feet of gain. Meet Diane Short at 9:00 the closed (?) ski rental shop just east of the gas station in Downieville - exit 234 off of I-70. Bike through Empire to the top of Berthoud Pass and back. Four riders to RSVP in order for the ride to go. 303-271-9642 (land line). Not on Meet Up.

9:00 FUN PLUS H2-19 SW Meet Peter Woulfe (540-219-6674) cell at the west end of the parking lot for the Broken Tee Golf Course (2101 W. Oxford, Englewood 80110). We ride the South Platte to Mineral up to the High Line Canal to Big Dry Creek, then back to the South Platte. We will ride some quiet residential streets, so we only cross Broadway once. Bring your lunch to socialize after the ride.
Sunday, August 4th:
8:00 AM FUN-H1-24-30 NE. ROCKY MOUNTAIN ARSENAL RIDE. Meet Cyndy Klepinger (303.725.1565) at Cake Crumbs, 2216 Kearney. We’ll ride city streets north to the Sand Creek Trail, ride toward the Northfield area and Rocky Mountain Arsenal. We will return by way of bike lanes and Central Park Greenway trails. Pace will be 12 to 14 mph. Ride limited to 10 riders, to reserve a spot, text Cyndy at 303.725.1565. Will have the opportunity to get a snack at Cake Crumbs after the ride.
8:30 am LEISURE H1/H2-20-SE Parker Farmer's Market & Honey Festival. Meet Karen Kelley (303-260-9029) at the East Arapahoe Trailhead. (0.2 miles east of Jordan Rd and Arapahoe Rd). Ride Cherry Creek Trail to Sulphur Gulch Trail to Downtown Parker Farmer's Market and Honey Festival. We will lock our bikes up and do some tasting. Bring money and a lock.
Monday August 5th:
9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-27-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Crown Hill Park (26th & Garrison) for a ride south to the Stone House and east along the Bear Creek Trail connecting to the South Platte Trail. We will then ride north to REI for a break. We will return via the Highlands and Wheat Ridge neighborhoods. Bring a sack lunch for a picnic after the ride.
Wednesday, August 7th:
9:00 AM FUN-H2-20?? SW NEW ROUTE Sneak into Bear Creek Park. Meet Patty Gaspar (303-618-5069) at Stone House Park on Estes and Yale. We’ll ride the Bear Creek Trail west to Kipling then over to the trail beside Quincy and sneak into the park over the bridge. We’ll enjoy a ride through the park and come back over Morrison Road to catch the trail back to the Stone House for a picnic lunch.

8:00 AM FUN-H1-25-30 SE BACK DOOR TO CHERRYCREEK RESERVOIR Meet Cyndy Klepinger (303-725-1565), at Cook Park Rec Center, 7100 Cherry Creek So. Dr. (west parking lot), Denver 80224 – off of Monaco,. We’ll ride a loop on Highline Canal and other bike paths to enter the Cherry Creek Reservoir on the east. Depending on the group, a loop around the reservoir is possible. Return on Cherry Creek and Highline Canal Path. Ride limited to 10 riders, to reserve a spot, text Cyndy at 303.725.1565. Bring a sack lunch to enjoy after the ride.

10 AM MTB P2, T2, Staunton State Park
THE RIDE: Meet Steve Thomas for a ride on the Staunton State Park trails. The ride will be approx. 13 miles with some extended climbing and a few technical downhill areas.
THE TIME: Meet at the lower parking lot (go right immediately after going through the entrance booth) at 10:00AM.
THE DIRECTIONS: Go west on Hwy 285 past Conifer to S. Elk Creek. Exit S. Elk Creek and go right approx. 1.3 miles to the turnoff, on the right, to the park.
THE FOOD: Bring snacks, drinks and chairs for after the ride at the park.

8:30 AM LEISURE-H1-22-E/NE – EAST DENVER/COOK PARK LOOP: Meet Helen Berkman (h.berkman@comcast.net) at Stanley Marketplace, 2501 Dallas St., Aurora. We’ll ride a loop down the Westerly Park Greenway south, east to Del Mar Pkwy and the Highline Canal, around Cook Park and back up to the Highline through Fairmont Cemetery and Lowry, returning to the start via the Greenway. Optional lunch at Boychick in Stanley Marketplace.
Sunday, August 11th:
8:00 AM FUN – H1- 27 NE HIDDEN TRAILS. Meet Cyndy Klepinger (303.725.1565) at Cake Crumbs, 2216 Kearney. We will discover some newer trails as well as enjoy the popular Cherry Creek. . The route starts with Cherry Creek Trail, then the Highline Canal to Tollgate to Sand Creek, Westerly Creek and finally Central Park trails. There are a few miles of city street riding. Ride limited to 10 riders, to reserve a spot, text Cyndy at 303.725.1565. . Will have the opportunity to get a snack at Cake Crumbs after the ride.
Monday August 12th:
8:30 AM LEISURE-H2-20 SE Cherry Creek Trail and Piney Creek Trail. Meet Barbara Thomas (816-560-0243 cell) at 8:15 & wheels down at 8:30. Ode to the joy of 2 Trails & 2 Creeks! Share your favorite poetry for trails or creeks! We will ride north into Cherry Creek Park and turn east on the Piney Creek Trail. We will ride to a point just past E 470 and turn around for a total of about 20 miles. Bring a snack and money for lunch at a local restaurant. Meet at the Arapahoe Rd Trailhead 15200 East Arapahoe Road in Centennial. Just east of Jordan Road on the south side of the street.
9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-22-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Prospect Park (44th & Robb) for a ride through Olde Town Arvada to the Ralston Creek Trail. We will then ride west on the Ralston Creek Trail to the west side of the Westwoods Golf Course for a break. We will return via Easley Rd and the Clear Creek Trail. We will ride the South Platte, go up Dartmouth Ave. to Dahlia St. to Quincy St. to Clarkson to Big Dry Creek then return to Stone House. Bring your lunch to socialize after the ride.
9:00 AM FUN-H2- 25 mi SW The Lunch Bunch Meet Patty Gaspar (303-618-5069) at Fox Hollow Golf Course. We will sweep down Bear Creek bike path as we head to the Mary Carter Greenway and take a break at Broken Tee. On the way back, we’ll wave as we pass the Fun Plus group on our way to Fox Hollow for LUNCH AT THE RESTAURANT (Bring $). Beautiful golf course setting. This should be an easy, cool ride on a hot day.
Thursday, August 15th:
9:30 AM FUN PLUS-H3-25-Frisco (Elevation Gain = 1646’) Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) for THE FREE ICE CREAM TOUR OF LAKE DILLON - KEYSTONE EDITION. We will ride the multi-use trail around Lake Dillon and then to Keystone. We will then return to the lake and climb the Swan Mountain bike path to the top and enjoy the incredible view. Afterwards, we will enjoy the fabulous downhill ride, completing a circle back to Frisco where DBTC will purchase ice cream for all riders at the Foote Sweet Shoppe. We will meet at the Ten Mile Rec path parking lot at the southeast corner of I-70 & Main Street. Drive westbound from Denver on I-70 to Exit 201. Turn left to go under I-70 then turn right into the parking lot.
Friday, August 16th:
9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-26-SE Meet Susan Larson (720-207-7300) at Arapahoe Road Trailhead (.2 miles east on Arapahoe Rd from the Arapahoe Rd and S. Jordan Rd intersection) for a ride south on the Cherry Creek Trail and then east on the Sulpher Gulch trail. We’ll stop for a break at Paperflower Park before continuing on through neighborhoods until we reach the Tallman Gulch trail. We’ll ride that until it connects to the Cherry Creek trail and head back to our starting point. Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.
9:00 AM H4 40 miles, 2900 feet gain. Meet Diane Short at 9 am at the closed Forest service station on the west side of Highway 103 at the 240 exit off of I-70 at the west end of Idaho Springs. Take bike paths and frontages roads to Bakerville. Option for 50 miles and about 3600 feet if continue to Loveland Valley. Four riders to RSVP in order for the ride to go. 303-271-9642 (land). 8:00 AM FUN PLUS-H3-20-NW (Elevation Gain = 1225 feet) - Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) THE HIDDEN GEMS OF LOUISVILLE!!! This exciting ride full of twists and turns uses the newest portion of the HWY 36 trail that goes west from Interlocken into Boulder then loops back through Louisville and Superior using some interesting secret trails including the Double Lombard Street Experience and the famous Black Hole of Louisville! See you at the Safeway at the Rock Creek village Shopping Center in Superior for this somewhat new tour of the trails of Superior, Louisville, and South Boulder (with a few roads mixed in as required). Rock Creek village is centrally located in Superior at the NW corner of Coalton and Rock Creek Parkway (Address is 1601 Coalton Road Superior, CO. 80027.)

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-30-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Twin Lakes Park (west of Broadway on 70th Ave, 300 W. 70th Ave) for a ride west on the Clear Creek Trail to the Golden Creamery in Golden. After a break, we will return via the same route. Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.
10:00 AM FUN/LEISURE-H2-15 Temple to Tenmile to Copper. W Meet Lin Hark (303-507-3502) in downtown Frisco at the Visitor Center (300 Main St, Frisco, CO 80443). We will ride to the Temple Trail then join the Tenmile Trail and ride to Copper Mountain Ski Area. Group option could be to go further toward Vail Pass to make it a 20 mile ride. This ride has an elevation gain of 676 ft. Lunch after in downtown Frisco. Lin will be on her E-Bike and other E-Bikes are welcome. Bring lock, money for lunch and extra clothes in case of rain or cooler temperatures. Carpool can meet at 8:45 AM at Stegosaurus Park n Ride near hwy 93 just south of I-70. Coordinate carpooling in Meetup. Lin will be in Summit County.

Meet 07:30 AM, Roll 07:45 AM. INT-H4-43-2800' elev. gain. "LOOP the LAKE & PEDAL the PASS with Ice Cream!" REGISTER BY TEXT (303-905-8510) to leader by Sunday, August 18. Meet Marilyn Choske (303-905-8510) at the Ten Mile Creek TH parking lot (NW corner of I-70 & W Main St, Frisco). I-70 Exit 201, Frisco Main St. Restrooms available. The first part of this adventure is a counter-clockwise Lake Dillon loop. From TH, ride south on the bike path towards Breckenridge, cross Hwy 9 at Swan Mtn Road and climb via bike lane to the summit. Continue on Swan Mountain's east side on the bike path, pedal to Frisco, and wind our way through quiet neighborhoods to return. Five-minute stop at trailhead to refuel, replenish water, restroom. Ride at your own pace up to Copper Mountain gas station for a break and a re-group, then thru the resort to the *fun* part of the climb to Vail Pass! After a rest and photo op at the top, return downhill to Frisco for your reward--a FREE ice cream at Foote's Rest, compliments of your DBTC! Limit 10 riders, including leader. Ride will not go if it is rainy or forecast for morning rain, and the leader can abort the last half of the ride if weather is threatening. 9:00 AM FUN-H2-25-S. CLEMENT PARK LOOP with a Twist. Meet Patty Gaspar (303-618-5069) in the West Parking Lot behind the library. The Clement Park Loop is west along Lily Gulch Trail out to C-470, Some climbing but then cruise down on C-470 Trail and cut over and finish our sail down Deer Creek Road. A quick bump over the dam and then catch Mary Carter Greenway, returning to Clement Park via the Columbine Valley neighborhood. Bring a picnic lunch for after.

9:00 am NE Fun H1 20 mi Twin Lakes to Little Dry Creek Meet Fred Tarbell at 226-318 W 70th Ave Denver, 1/8 mile West of Broadway and 224 Ave. Ride West on Clear Creek to Little Dry Creek junction. Follow Little Dry Creek through urban neighborhoods to W 80th Ave. Then connect to Arbor Park Lake for a lake loop ride before returning to W 80th Ave. We will continue West along 80th Ave and Yarrow St to stop at King Scoopers for a bathroom break. Continue West to Little Dry Creek trail passing around Pomona Lake. After a midride break at a small neighborhood park we will return East on Little Dry Creek back to Twin Lakes. Welcome to bring lunch items to stay and visit after the ride.

This is a fantastic ride down the Platte River Bike Path to the infamous Hudson Gardens and back. A beverage of your choice will be provided to all riders at the break at the Nixon Coffee House at Hudson Gardens. We will meet at the City of Cuernavaca Park downtown (Exit at 20th Ave going east away from the mountains. Turn right over the bridge onto Little Raven, then turn right onto 19th Street, then right onto Platte River which becomes Rockmont Drive, and go until you dead end into the parking lot at the large bike statue.)

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2/H3-34-SE Meet Susan Larson (720-207-7300) at Arapahoe Road Trailhead for a ride to and around Aurora Reservoir. This ride will be a mix of the Cherry Creek Trail, the High Plains Trail, the Piney Creek Trail, the Aurora Reservoir Trail and residential roads. We’ll make planned breaks on the route at Red-tailed Hawk Park, Aurora Reservoir beach, and Piney Creek Hollow Park. Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.
Saturday, August 24th:
9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-25-SE Meet Ellen Fitzpatrick (720-209-2269) at Eisenhower Recreation Center, 4300 E Dartmouth Ave, Denver. We will ride to Denver Tech Center and out around Cherry Creek Reservoir, returning on South Cherry Creek Trail and on residential streets back to start. Bring lunch for social at the park after. All paved, no gravel. Avg speed 12-13 mph.
Sunday, August 25th:
9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H3-21 NW (1541 ft of elevation gain) – HIDDEN GEMS OF GOLDEN JUGGLING RIDE!!! Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) for this fairly new Hidden Gems adventure around beautiful Golden as we celebrate pre-Labor Day Weekend. We will meet at Clear Creek Parking Lot at the NE corner of 10th and Archer (304 10th St, Golden, CO 80401) in Golden and ride the Golden Circle, up the canyon and beyond to Heritage Park and other unexplored areas including, I promise you, a rose garden. Riders will be rewarded for their climbing around Golden with a high altitude juggling act at Heritage Dells Park before the descent begins.
Monday, August 26th:
9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-20-SW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Broken Tee Golf Course (2101 W. Oxford in Englewood). We will ride on the South Platte Trail taking the road over the Chatfield Dam. At the top, we will have a break and ride the paved trail on top of the dam before riding to the paved trail on the other side and back to the start via the South Platte Trail. Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.
8:30 AM Leisure H1-18-SE. Highline Canal SW to Fly’N B Park Meet Jill McMahon (303 888-0314 cell) at the Goodson Rec Center, 6315 S University Blvd, Centennial. Goodson Rec Center is approximately ½ mile north of University Blvd and Arapahoe Rd. Go around the Rec Center to the left of the building and park in the lot near the path to the park. The trail winds around in a SW direction and is mostly packed gravel with a few miles paved and a short distance on quiet streets. Bring a snack and money if you wish to attend the optional lunch afterwards.
Tuesday, August 27th:
9:00AM LEISURE-H2/3-24-WEST Idaho Springs to Georgetown. Beat the heat! Meet Marlene Patacky 720-838-7338 at the Clear Creek Ranger Station, 11 Highway 103, Idaho Springs, CO 80452. (I-70 to Chicago Lake Rd to Ranger Station) Gradual climb on paved lightly traveled frontage road 1000 feet elevation to lunch at the yes open Happy Cooker. Then all downhill back to cars. Ebikes welcome! Bring water, snack and $ for lunch. Lunch is outside.

9:00 AM FUN-H1-30 SE Meet Patty Gaspar (303-618-5069) at Bout Time! 3580 S Platte River Drive A in Sheridan for a ride on the Platte River Trail to the Cherry Creek Trail to the Highline Canal then DOWN Dartmouth. Since one of the highlights of this ride used to be lunch at the Original Brooklyn’s but the parking has become tricky, let’s try something different.

9:00 am Fun Plus H2 19mi NE Twin Lakes to Westminster Recreation Center Meet Fred Tarbell (630-888-5290) at Twin Lakes 226-318 W 70th Ave, (1/4 mi West of Broadway and 70th) We will continue West on Clear Creek to junction, (slight right) of Little Dry Creek trail. Follow Little Dry Creek West to Lowell Blvd intersection. Turn North on Lowell Blvd on sidewalks for about 7 blocks. At Lowell Blvd and 78 Ave junction connect to US 36 Bikeway on the Left. Continue West on US 36 bikeway toward Westminster. In Westminster we exit right off US 36 Bikeway under US 36 highway and follow connecting trail to the Westminster Rec center. Water and restrooms available inside during our break before we return on same route. Bring snacks or lunch items if you want to socialize at Rotella Park after the ride.
10:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-30-SE Meet Susan Larson (720-207-7300) at Arapahoe Road Trailhead for a ride south on the Cherry Creek Trail. We’ll make a couple of stops at nice parks before turning around and biking back. This trail is a very gradual uphill going out that you won’t notice until you turn around and start back when you’re rewarded with a downhill! It’s a pretty ride! Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.
Friday, August 30th:
8:30 AM FUN PLUS-H2-29-SE Meet Ellen Fitzpatrick (720-209-2269) at Village Greens (9501 E Union Ave, turn into parking lot where Union, Dam Road, and S Dayton St meet) across from SW corner of Cherry Creek reservoir. We will circle around Cherry Creek reservoir and cut out on Piney Creek Trail heading east out to Red Tail Hawk Park and return. All paved road and bike paths. Average pace 12 mph and 1000’ elevation gain. Bring lunch for picnic after.

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-29-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Anderson Park (44th & Field) for a ride east on the Clear Creek Trail, which we will take to the South Platte Trail. We will then ride south to REI for a break. We will return to the start via the Neighborhood Bikeway (35th Ave). Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.
