Saturday, June 1st: 

9:00 FUN PLUS H2-19 SW Meet Peter Woulfe (540-219-6674)cell at the west end of the parking lot for the Broken Tee Golf Course (2101 W. Oxford, Englewood 80110). We ride the South Platte to Mineral up to the High Line Canal to Big Dry Creek, then back to the South Platte. We will ride some quiet residential streets, so we only cross Broadway once. Bring your lunch to socialize after the ride.


Monday June 3rd:

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-22-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Crown Hill Park (26th & Garrison) for a ride northeast through Wheat Ridge neighborhoods to the Clear Creek Trail, where we will ride west to Golden.  After a break at Parfet Park, we will ride back via 32nd & 26th avenues.  Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.


Tuesday, June 4th:

Wednesday, June 5th:

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-30 miles-SW Meet Peter Woulfe (540-219-6674) at Stone House (Estes & Yale along the Bear Creek Trail).  We will ride east on the Bear Creek Trail to the South Platte Trail. We will ride the South Platte to the C-470 trail, go over to the dam at Chatfield State Park, returning down the road to the South Platte and Bear Creek and back to the Stone House. Bring your lunch to socialize after the ride.


Thursday, June 6th:

9:00 AM FUN-H2-25-SE Meet Ellen Fitzpatrick (720-209-2269) at Mamie D Eisenhower Park, 4300 E Dartmouth Ave, Denver.  We will ride to Denver Tech Center and out  around Cherry Creek Reservoir, returning on South Cherry Creek Trail and on residential streets back to start. We can make a coffee stop at Daz Bog on the way back if group desires. Bring lunch for social at the park after. All paved, no gravel.


Friday, June 7th:

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-24-SE Meet Susan Larson (720-207-7300) at Arapahoe Road Trailhead (.2 miles east on Arapahoe Rd from the Arapahoe Rd and S. Jordan Rd intersection) for a ride south on the Cherry Creek Trail and then east on the Sulpher Gulch Trail.  This is an out and back ride.  Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.


Saturday, June 8th:

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H3-20-NW - Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) THE HIDDEN GEMS OF LOUISVILLE!!!  (Elevation Gain = 1225 feet) This exciting ride full of twists and turns uses the newest portion of the HWY 36 trail that goes west into Boulder then loops back through Louisville and Superior using some interesting secret trails including the Double Lombard Street Experience and the famous Black Hole of Louisville! See you at the Safeway at the Rock Creek village Shopping Center in Superior for this somewhat new tour of the trails of Superior, Louisville, and South Boulder (with a few roads mixed in as required). Rock Creek village is centrally located in Superior at the NW corner of Coalton and Rock Creek Parkway (Address is 1601 Coalton Road Superior, CO. 80027.) Meet on the east side of the parking lot.


Sunday, June 9th:

9:00 AM FUN-H2-25-NW NEW & IMPROVED WESTMINSTER CLASSIC. Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) for an exciting ride full of unexpected twists, turns, and surprises...and now with BRAND NEW TRAILS. We will meet at the parking lot WEST of the baseball diamonds in Westminster City Park. (Directions: From US 36 and Church Ranch Blvd/104th Ave. exit, east on 104th about 1/2 mile to the first left after the Westminster Blvd light, then go LEFT again into the parking lot. The address for the park is 10455 Sheridan Blvd but note again that we are meeting WEST of the buildings and baseball fields.) This ride takes us through the Westminster, Northglenn, and Thornton area, including the Farmer’s Highline Canal, Lee Lateral, and Grange Hall Creek trails.


Monday June 10th:

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H3-29-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Prospect Park (44th & Robb) for a ride through Olde Town Arvada to the Ralston Creek Trail.  We will then ride west on the Ralston Creek Trail to the west side of the Westwoods Golf Course for a break.  We will return through Arvada neighborhoods on 50th and 52nd avenues.  Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.


Tuesday, June 11th:

7:30 AM INT-H4-31-W-2533' elev gain. YOUNGFIELD/LOOKOUT LOOP CHALLENGE!  Meet 7:15am; DEPART 7:30am. REGISTER BY TEXT to leader 303-905-8510 by Monday, June 10. We go further and with more elevation.  Join Marilyn Choske at the Youngfield Trailhead to Clear Creek Trail (CCT), located on the east side of Youngfield St in Wheat Ridge, between 38th & 44th Avenues.  Ride Clear Creek Trail to Golden, climb and go over Lookout Mountain to Hwy 40. East to Heritage Square and pick up Kinney Run Trail to Hwy 6 trail and return; bring $ for beverage stop. This ride is rated Advanced in DBTC Ride With GPS Club route library due to distance/elevation; expect slower, steady climbing pace with occasional stops. Great training ride. Ride will not go if rainy or forecast is for rain in morning; call leader if in doubt.  NOTE:  Return route may change slightly at leader's discretion!


NEW RIDE

10:00 AM MTB P2 T2 Dawson Butte Open Space in Douglas County.    Meet Steve Farley 303-437-5442-text is best, at the Open Space trailhead for a couple of laps of the trail system.  A ride of five miles each lap.  The area is mostly forested terrain of rolling hills and open meadow.  Respect wildlife as elk, bears, mountain lions and other species call this home.  All riders must sign-in at the start of the ride.

Directions to the trailhead, 1753 Tomah Road.  From Castle Rock go south on I-25, take the west Plum Creek exit and head south five miles on the Frontage Road; at Tomah Rd., go right-west-for 1.5 miles to the Dawson Butte Ranch entrance on the right.

Post ride Bring a chair and lunch/snacks for after ride socializing in the parking lot under the trees.


Wednesday, June 12th:

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-27-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Anderson Park (44th & Field) for a ride east on the Clear Creek Trail, which we will take to the South Platte Trail.  We will then ride to REI for a break.  We will then return to the start via Highlands and Wheat Ridge neighborhoods.  Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.

9:00 AM LEISURE-H1-20-NW Ralston Creek and Little Dry Creek Meet Jake Jacobi (720.808.2306) the south end of the Safeway parking lot at 80th Ave and Wadsworth Blvd. The ride will mostly be on Ralston Creek and Little Dry Creek, with some streets. An optional lunch at a local restaurant to follow.

10:00 AM  GRAVEL/ FUN-H1-20 miles SW Meet Janet Martel (303-929-5950 cell) at the T intersection of Jefferson County Road 97 and Jefferson County Road 96.  Drive south on Hwy. 285 to the exit of Jeffco Road 97 and the signs will direct you to Reynolds Park (Jeffco open space, not Reynolds landing on South Santa Fe Drive).  Pass through Reynolds Park and descend to the South Platte River.  There is a parking area at this intersection with an outhouse.  We will ride through unique rock formations along the South Platte River on a road that is some old blacktop and some hard packed dirt.  This is not really "gravel" per se.  Gravel bikes, mountain bikes, hybrids or road bikes with wider tires are all suitable.  There are some historic sites and a few small ranches along this road.  We will cross the Colorado trail.  We will ride out about 10 miles, eat snacks or lunch and return.


Thursday, June 13th:

9:00-LEISURE-H2-20-NORTH Niwot to Hygiene - Meet Marcy Rodney (720-985-3403) in the parking lot outside the Garden Gate Cafe in Niwot, 7960 Niwot Rd.  From the old town of Niwot to the crossroads of Hygiene, we'll pass through farm country and new suburban sprawl. This is a road ride with hills, 442' gain, that we will take at a leisurely pace. We will stop for our break at the general store in Hygiene, visit the 1882 Ryssby Church, take a look at Coot Lake, and finish up in Niwot. Bathroom stops may be 8-9 miles apart. 8:00AM (was 9:00 AM) FUN-H1-28-NE TWIN LAKES TO RIVERDALE VETERANS MEMORIAL.  Text to register at 303-905-8510.  Meet Marilyn Choske (for Fred Tarbell) at 300 West 70th Ave (⅛ mi west of Broadway and 70th).  Bike east on Clear Creek to junction of Platte River Trail.  Turn north on Platte River Trail toward Riverdale Regional Park area.  Exit of Platte River Trail to entrance of Adams County Veterans Memorial.  We will take our break for restrooms and snacks while we view and explore the architectural design of the Veterans Memorial.  Return by the same route to Twin Lakes.  Bring lunch items or snacks if you stay to visit after ride.


Friday, June 14th: (FOUR RIDES)

NEW RIDE

7:30 AM INT-H4-35-W-3300’ Elev. Gain.  Meet Bill Luttrell (719 235-3868) at Rooney Trailhead Parking off Rooney road just North of Dinosaur Ridge at 7:15AM, wheels down at 7:30AM. We will head North up Rooney Road to the bike trail next to US 6, to 19th, then up Lookout mtn, regroup at Windy Saddle, then up to top of Lookout for snacks and water break, then West on Lookout mtn road, right onto Colorow, back onto Lookout mtn road, right up Mt Vernon road, then down to bike trail next to I70 to Evergreen, then to Keer Gulch road down to 74, down to Morrison and back up Rooney to the start.    Figure on moving at a good pace. We will take stops along the way as required by the group.

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-19-SE Meet Susan Larson (720-207-7300) at Broncos Parkway Trailhead at Cherry Creek (behind Tagawa Gardens) for a ride north on the Cherry Creek Trail and around the reservoir.  This is a beautiful ride around the reservoir with great views.  Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterwards.

9:00 AM FUN-H1-30-NE HIDDEN TRAILS. Meet Cyndy Klepinger (303.725.1565) at Cook Park Rec Center 7100 Cherry Creek So. Dr. (west parking lot), Denver 80224 – off of Monaco, . We will discover some newer trails as well as enjoy the popular Cherry Creek. .  The route starts with Cherry Creek Trail, then the Highline Canal to Tollgate to Sand Creek and finally Central Park trails.  There are a few miles of city street riding.  Ride limited to 10 riders, to reserve a spot, text Cyndy at 303.725.1565.  Bring a sack lunch to enjoy after the ride. NEW RIDE

9:00 AM Fun Plus-H3–25 miles–West  Meet Tom Fitzgerald (303-424-1082) at Anderson Park (44th & Field, Wheat Ridge).  We’ll ride west on the Clear Creek Trail to 7th & Ford (Golden), and pedal up Tucker Gulch.  We’ll stop for a water/restroom break at Norman D Park (near the top of Tucker Gulch).  We’ll then head south via paved bike paths to the Clear Creek Trail.  We'll head west along Clear Creek to the start/end of the Peaks-to-Plains Trail, and then double back to Golden for a stop at the Golden Creamery (bring $$ for ice cream and/or chocolate).  After ice cream, we’ll return to Anderson Park via the Clear Creek Trail. 


Saturday, June 15th:

9:00 AM FUN-H2-30-SE-750 Back by popular demand!  Meet Ellen Fitzpatrick (720-209-2269) at Mamie Eisenhower Park Rec Center, 4300 East Dartmouth Ave., Denver (Colorado Blvd and Dartmouth) to ride the Highline Canal through Cherry Hills and South to Prince Street in Littleton. We will make a quick stop in the Littleton cemetery  to see Alferd Packer’s (read story via google) final resting place before heading to a nearby coffee/ice cream shop downtown. Then back via bike path along the Platte to Big Dry creek and neighborhood streets to the start. The first 14 miles are on light gravel and the last half on pavement. The surface makes it a more difficult ride, so a hybrid or gravel bike is easier than a road bike. Bring money for snackstop, and stay after the ride for lunch/social at the park.


Sunday, June 16th: Father’s Day

8:00 AM FUN-H1-24-30 miles NE ROCKY MOUNTAIN ARSENAL RIDE.  Meet Cyndy Klepinger (303-725-1565) at Cake Crumbs, 2216 Kearney.  We’ll ride city streets north to the Sand Creek Trail, ride toward Northfield area and Rocky Mountain Arsenal.  We will return by way of bike lanes and Central Park Greenway trails.  Pace will be 12 to 14 mph.  Ride limited to 10 riders, to reserve a spot, text Cyndy at 303-725-1565.  Will have opportunity to get a snack at Cake Crumbs after the ride.  All rides are weather permitting.  Check Meetup posting if you are not sure if ride is a go or not.


Monday June 17th:

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-25-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Anderson Park (44th & Field) for a ride west on the Clear Creek Trail to Tabor St.  We will ride north on Tabor to Ridge Road and through the Skyline Estates neighborhood in Arvada to the Ralston Creek Trail, which we will ride east to the Clear Creek Trail.  We will then ride west exiting in Wheat Ridge to Sloans Lake.  After a break, we will ride around the lake and return to the start via Wheat Ridge neighborhoods.  Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.

8:30 AM LeisureH1-17-SW.  LEE GULCH LOOP Meet Jill McMahon(303 888-0314 cell) at the Aspen Grove Shopping Center parking lot in the very southeast corner (south of the Alamo Drafthouse which is 7301 S Santa Fe Dr Unit #850, Littleton.)   This is a loop ride on the Platte River Trail, the Big Dry Creek Trail, the Highline Trail and the Lee Gulch Trail. It winds around some very pretty areas - mostly on paved trails but some gravel and a short distance on residential streets. There will be an optional lunch afterwards at Piccino’s . Bring a snack, and money for lunch if you plan to join us.


Tuesday, June 18th:

7:15 AM FUN+-H3-38-1550' elev gain. "RIDE, LUNCH, & TRAIN"   Meet 07:15am; DEPART 07:30am.  REGISTER BY TEXT to leader 303-905-8510 by Monday, June 17.  Rider Limit of *8*.  Join Marilyn Choske at Crown Hill Park (26th & Garland) in Wheat Ridge.  We'll pedal a large loop SW, E, and N, climbing W Colfax, Dinosaur, Mt. Carbon, and smaller hills east and north to the Platte.  Bring $ for lunch stop at Brooklyn's near Mile High. After lunch, hop on, with your bike, the air-conditioned W-Line light rail and disembark at Garrison station.  Leader will provide train tickets.  Ride the 2 miles back to Crown Hill. Ride won't go if rainy or forecast is for morning or early afternoon rain/t-storms; call leader if in doubt.

NEW RIDE

9:30 AM MTB, P2-3,T2-3, 13, S 1200’ Elev. Gain.  USAFA Falcon Trail, Colorado Springs. Join me on this scenic fun ride on the Air Force Academy.  Meet Bill Luttrell (719 235-3868) at North Stadium parking lot on AFA.  Take the north entrance to AFA, Turn left onto Stadium Drive, then turn right onto Academy Dr for 1bout ½ mile to dirt parking lot on the right.  Register by text to leader Bill Luttrell at 719 235-3868.  Ride will take about 2 ½ hours depending on stops and groups pace.  No beginner riders, you must be an intermediate rider for this trip. Only one short technical area of about 60ft that I always walk. Lots of fun ups and downs.


Wednesday, June 19th:

9:00 AM FUN -H2/H3-24 SW Pie in the sky? Meet Patty Gaspar (303-618-5069) Granny Scott’s Pie Shop (3333 S Wadsworth Blvd.). We’ll pay our respects to the goddess and then head west to Kipling then over to the C470 trail. There is a great downhill back to Lowell and Bear Valley. Lunch at the pie shop.


Thursday, June 20th:

10:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-24-SE Meet Susan Larson (720-207-7300) at Arapahoe Road Trailhead (.2 miles east on Arapahoe Road from the Arapahoe Rd and S. Jordan Rd intersection) for a ride north on the Cherry Creek Trail into Cherry Creek State Park and then turning east to ride on the Piney Creek Trail.  We’ll ride the Piney Creek Trail to Red-tailed Hawk Park where we will turn around and ride back.  There is one short section, ¼ mile, that will be on a neighborhood road with the rest of the ride on trails.  Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.

5:00 PM FUN–H2–22 - Downtown Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) for this Incredible FREE DRINK First Day of Summer/Longest Day of the Year Evening Adventure! This is a fantastic ride down the Platte River Bike Path to the infamous Hudson Gardens and back. A beverage of your choice will be provided to all riders at the break at the Nixon Coffee House at Hudson Gardens. We will meet at the City of Cuernavaca Park downtown (Exit at 20th Ave going east away from the mountains. Turn right over the bridge onto Little Raven, then turn right onto 19th Street, then right onto Platte River which becomes Rockmont Drive, and go until you dead end into the parking lot at the large bike statue.)


Friday, June 21st:

NEW RIDE

8:00AM INT-H4-36-W-3650’ Eleven gain. Meet Bill Luttrell (719) 235-3868 at Began Park N Ride in Evergreen at 7:45am, wheels down at 8am.  We will head up the beautiful long uphill Squaw pass road up to Echo Lake parking area.  We will take breaks as needed by the group. Bring lots of water and snacks. Great views of the distant Continental Divide and mountains.  After lunch it sill be about a 1mile climb and then all downhill back to the start.

7:45 AM INT-H4-27-SW-2900’ Elev. Gain.  Meet Bill Luttrell (719 235-3868) at Wadsworth and W. Deer Canyon Road. We will head up W Deer Creek Canyon road, then turn left up Deer Creek Road, continue on up High Grade Road to the Schoolhouse at the top.  This is a very scenic, pretty but tough ride with a screaming downhill almost all the way back.  Nice stop with Picnic tables, water, gatoraid, cookies and a clean Porta John.  There will be several stops on the way up as it is a long 10 mile climb, think Lookout Mtn climb with twice distance and elevation gain.  We all climb at different paces but figure a good pace.  REGISTER BY TEXT TO LEADER as I am limiting group to 8 people

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-20-SW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Broken Tee Golf Course (west end to parking lot 2101 W. Oxford in Englewood).  We will ride south on the South Platte Trail taking the road over the Chatfield Dam to the paved trail on the other side.  We will return to the start via the trail.  Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.

11:00 am MTB  T2 P2. 10 miles West  Meet Janet Martel (303-929-5950 cell) at the parking lot for the Maryland Mountain Trailhead.  Head west on I70 and exit at the bottom of Floyd Hill on US Hwy 6.  At the intersection of Hwy 6 and Hwy 119 (Peak to Peak Highway) head north towards Black Hawk.  Continue through the casino town of Black Hawk about 1 mile and the parking area is on the right just past a pedestrian/bike bridge that crosses Hwy 119.  The trail head might be signed as Hidden Treasure Trailhead.  We will ride the green and blue trails (NO BLACK DIAMOND!) to total about 12 miles.  These are mostly single track trails that are designed for mountain bikes.  Engineered and built by COMBA  (Colorado Mountain Bike Association).  Bring snacks for the ride.  See trail descriptions on MTB Project app.


Saturday, June 22nd:

7:30 AM (was 8:30 AM) FUN+ (was FUN)-H2-24-SE-850 Meet Ellen Fitzpatrick (720-209-2269) at  Reynolds Landing, 6745 S. Santa Fe Dr (back behind Breckenridge Brewery).  We will ride south along the Platte out to the Chatfield marina and back using both road bike lanes and bike paths. Bring lunch or snacks for social time after.


Sunday, June 23rd:

7:45 AM FUN+-H3-17.7-W-+1350' elev.  "WEST TRIPLE LOOP WITH EYES ON DANISH!"  Meet 07:45am   REGISTER BY TEXT to leader 303-905-8510 by Saturday, June 22.  Meet Marilyn Choske at Green Gables Park; enter from Garrison east-side, located between Wisconsin & Florida.  Pedal south and west on bike-friendly streets and climb to Dinosaur saddle; descend and climb into Red Rocks Park; descend into Morrison; enter Bear Creek Park and climb Kumpfmiller Road to exit the Park on the east.  Then the fun begins:  take Morrison Road to Kipling Street and enjoy your final calorie-burning climb!  Bring $ to reward yourself with a tasty pastry at Taste of Denmark.  Short return to cars.  Pace: 7-14mph depending on uphill steeps!

8:00 AM FUN-H1-24-30 miles NE MYSTERY RIDE TO THE EAST.  Meet Cyndy Klepinger (303-725-1565) at Cake Crumbs, 2216 Kearney.  We’ll ride a combination of city streets to the Sand Creek Trail, then ride east toward the Aurora Soccer fields.  Then toward Northfield area and Rocky Mountain Arsenal.  We will return by way of bike lanes and city streets.  Route may change depending on construction and increased traffic.  Pace will be 12 to 14 mph.  Ride limited to 10 riders, to reserve a spot, text Cyndy at 303-725-1565.  Will have opportunity to get a snack at Cake Crumbs after the ride.  All rides weather permitting.  Check Meetup posting if you are not sure if a ride is a go or not.


Monday, June 24th:

9:00AM FUN PLUS-H2-25-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Anderson Park (44th & Field) for a ride west on the Clear Creek Trail to Easley Rd, which we will take to the Ralston Creek Trail.  After a break, we will then ride the entire length of the Ralston Creek Trail returning to the start via the Clear Creek Trail.  Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.


NEW RIDE

10:00 AM MTB P2 T2    Genesee Mountain Park.   Meet Steve Farley at the top parking lot of Denver Parks and Recreation, Genesee Mountain Park. Take exit 254 on I-70 to get to the park.   Go across the I-70 highway bridge and make a right turn to ascend to the top parking area.  We will do a loop from the top, counter clockwise, downhill and then come back up along the Buffalo pasture near, The Patrick House an old stage stop.  We will go up to the flag pole summit, 8284 feet, for 360-degree views.  About a five-mile loop and 500 ft of elevation gain.  Do two loops if you like. Hopefully we will see the buffalo and I have seen bear in the park.  Maybe the Buffalo will be in the pasture.  All riders must sign-in at the start to officially be on the ride. 

Post ride Bring a chair and lunch/snacks for after ride socializing in the parking lot.


Tuesday, June 25th:

7:30 AM FUN+-H3-31-+1625' elev gain. NW 'WAG' LOOP!' WAG=Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Golden. Meet 07:30am.  REGISTER BY TEXT to leader 303-905-8510 by Monday, June 24.  Join Marilyn Choske at Anderson Park, 44th & Field St, Wheat Ridge--back parking lot near big pavilion for this counter-clockwise circuit ride.  Go north on streets and bike paths to Arvada, then west to roads south.  72nd Ave west to up and over Blunn Reservoir on Ralston Creek Trail.  Cross Hwy 93 to White Ranch east TH and ride roads to Golden.  Optional beverage stop with group consensus.  Return on roads and Clear Creek Trail to Anderson Park.  Ride won't go if rainy or forecast is for morning or early afternoon rain/t-storms; call leader if in doubt.

Wednesday, June 26th:

FUN-H1-23-W/NW-563' elev.  "Bike-to-Work Day!"  TWO FOR TWO! Options, that is...==> REGISTER BY TEXT with your preferred Option #, below, to leader 303-905-8510 by Tuesday, June 25. 

Option #1: Meet 07:00am, Depart 07:10am. Meet Marilyn Choske at Crown Hill Park in Wheat Ridge and ride to Civic Center Park. Return to Crown Hill after completing Option #2 ride. About 15 more miles.

Option #2: Meet 09:00am, Roll 09:15am Join ride leaders Marilyn Choske and Patty Gaspar and other DBTCers at Bike-to-Work Day DBTC booth in Denver's Civic Center Park for this northwesterly loop ride.  "Pickups" at 09:45am at REI/Starbucks Platte River Trail-side--no stop: call leader if you're meeting us there.  From Civic Center Park, access Cherry Creek Trail to Platte River to Clear Creek to Sloans Lake with optional beverage stop along the way; bring $.  This group #2 returns to Denver. Group #1 returns to Wheat Ridge.  Mostly bike paths with some bike-friendly street riding.  Easy pace, no-drop.


Thursday, June 27th:

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-21-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Anderson Park (44th & Field) for a ride west on the Clear Creek Trail to the Peak-to-Plains Trail, which we will take to the current construction point.  We will then return to Parfet Park for a break, and then return to the start on the Clear Creek Trail.  Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.


Friday, June 28th:

9:30 AM FUN PLUS-H3-24-Frisco (Elevation Gain = 1171’) Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) for THE FREE ICE CREAM TOUR OF LAKE DILLON. We will meet at the Summit Middle School parking lot in Frisco and ride the multi-use trail around Lake Dillon toward Keystone. We will then climb the Swan Mountain bike path to the top and enjoy the incredible view after which we will enjoy the fabulous downhill toward Frisco, completing a circle back to Frisco where DBTC will purchase ice cream for all riders at the Foote Sweet Shoppe. Directions to Summit Middle School, 158 School Rd, Frisco: Drive westbound from Denver on I-70 to Exit 203, and take the roundabout exit that leads south onto the bridge crossing I-70. Continue south on Summit Blvd. (Hwy 9) for .8 miles to the stoplight intersection of School Rd. & CR 1040. Turn left onto School Rd. and look for DBTC members in the parking lot.


Saturday, June 29th:

9:00 AM FUN-H2-21-NW -THE REALLY RADICAL RAT RACE RODENT RIDE.  Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) for this new ride that takes us around the trails of Rock Creek, Interlocken and Broomfield highlighted by the new bike overpass between Interlocken and Broomfield leading to never before seen trails!!! Come find out how this ride got it’s name. Meet at the SE corner of the Safeway parking lot at the Rock Creek Village Shopping Center in Superior. Rock Creek Village is centrally located in Superior at the NW corner of Coalton and Rock Creek Parkway (Address is 1601 Coalton Road Superior, CO. 80027.)

7:45 AM FUN+-H3-17.7-W-+1350' elev.  "WEST TRIPLE LOOP WITH EYES ON DANISH!"  Meet 07:45am   REGISTER BY TEXT to leader 303-905-8510 by Saturday, June 29.  Meet Marilyn Choske at Green Gables Park; enter from Garrison east-side, located between Wisconsin & Florida.  Pedal south and west on bike-friendly streets and climb to Dinosaur saddle; descend and climb into Red Rocks Park; descend into Morrison; enter Bear Creek Park and climb Kumpfmiller Road to exit the Park on the east.  Then the fun begins:  take Morrison Road to Kipling Street and enjoy your final calorie-burning climb!  Bring $ to reward yourself with a tasty pastry at Taste of Denmark.  Short return to cars.  Pace: 7-14mph depending on uphill steeps!
