Jan/Feb 2023 DBTC Ride Schedule
Saturday, January 14th:
12:00 PM FUN PLUS/INT - H1 26 Miles N: FIRST RIDE OF 2023!!!
Meet Peter Woulfe (540-219-6674) at Twin Lakes Park, 300 West 70th (just west of Broadway). Ride east along Clear Creek and then north along the South Platte River to Riverdale Park (Adams County FairGrounds). Then return the same way. Average speed 12 to 15MPH. Note there are a few wet spots you might want to bring a towel for the drive home.
Sunday, Feb 5th
NEW RIDE
12:00PM FUN-PLUS/INT-H2-25 -NW Meet Peter Woulfe (540-219-6674) at the Wheat Ridge Rec Center in Wheat Ridge, 41st & Kipling., far north end parking lot nearest Kipling Street. We will ride west on Clear Creek Trail to McIntyre, then 64th around the reservoir to the Blunn and Van Bibber Trails, then a few streets to Easley and back to the Clear Creek Trail for our return. Average speed 12 to 15 MPH. Might be a few wet spots bring a towel for the drive home.
Wednesday, Feb 8th
NEW RIDE
12:00 FUN PLUS/INT H-2-20 miles SW Meet Peter Woulfe (540-219-6674) at the west end of the parking lot for the Broken Tee Golf Course (2101 W. Oxford, Englewood 80110). We will ride the South Platte to Chatfield State Park, and up the dam. We will ride the paved part of the dam, then return via C-470 and the South Platte Trail. Average speed 12 to 15 MPH.
Sunday, February 11th:
Please, EVERYONE, come join the DBTC Birthday Party at Susie Frakes house on Saturday, February 11 for a lunch and social time around Noon. This is a big birthday for Susie and we can all help her celebrate (as well as everyone else who has a birthday in 2023). It is a great excuse to get together mid-winter. Please Bring a Dish to share and your favorite beverage. Susie will supply the house, cider or water to drink. DBTC will provide a birthday cake. Parking is limited, so carpool if you can. Please RSVP when the MeetUp announcement is sent next week so we know how many to expect.

Note: The February Birthday Party goes back many years. Many of you may remember it as a tradition for Susie, Gordon, and Don who all had birthdays within a few days of each other.
