Jan/Feb 2025 DBTC Ride Schedule 

MONDAY FEB 3

11:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-30 miles-SW Meet Peter Woulfe (540-219-6674) at Stone House (Estes & Yale along the Bear Creek Trail). We will ride east on the Bear Creek Trail to the South Platte Trail. We will ride the South Platte to the C-470 trail go over to the dam at Chatfield State Park returning down the road to the South Platte and Bear Creek to the Stone House.

Start Time: 11:00 AM. Please arrive early and be ready to leave on time. Please dress for the weather and bring a snack , water, pump or inflator, extra tube or patch kit. We should average 12 to 15 MPH.


MONDAY FEB 24

11:00 AM FUN PLUS - H1 26 Miles N. Meet Peter Woulfe (540-219-6674) at Twin Lakes Park, 300 West 70th (just west of Broadway). Ride east along Clear Creek and then north along the South Platte River to Riverdale Park. Then return the same way.
Start Time: 11:00 AM. Please arrive early and be ready to leave on time. Please dress for the weather and bring a snack , water, pump or inflator, extra tube or patch kit. We should average 12 to 15 MPH.


THURSDAY FEB 27

11:00 AM FUN+ 27 miles H2 ~1000 gain. Meet Diane Short at the Stone House (Estes at Yale, Lakewood). Ride through Pinehurst, Bowmar and over to the King Soopers at Chatfield and Wadsworth and back.

11:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-3-21 miles -SW Meet Peter Woulfe (540-219-6674) at the Stone House (Estes & Yale along the Bear Creek Trail). We will ride west on the Bear Creek Trail to Fox Hollow Golf Course, go up Mt. Carbon and around the park to Morrison Road, back to go up the dam at Fox Hollow, then return via Morrison Rd and Bear Creek Trail. (You will go up the hill at your own speed, and we will regroup at the top.)
Start Time: 11:00 AM. Please arrive early and be ready to leave on time. Please dress for the weather and bring a snack , water, pump or inflator, and an extra tube or patch kit.


FRIDAY FEB 28

11:00am Fun H1 25 mi NE Twin Lakes to Riverdale Veterans Memorial Meet Fred Tarbell at 300 West 70th Ave, (1/8 mi West of Broadway and 70th) Bike East on Clear Creek to junction of Platte River Trail. Turn North on Platte River trail toward Riverdale Regional Park area. We will exit off Platte River trail to the entrance of the Adams County Veterans Memorial. We will take our break for restrooms and snacks while we view and explore the architectural design of the Veterans Memorial. We will return by the same route to Twin Lakes. Bring lunch items or snacks if you stay to visit after the ride.
